Family: She was born in Sarıyer, Istanbul. She spent her childhood in many different cities and countries due to the profession of her father, a Submarine Officer. She lost her family in the army house inside the navy in the Gölcük Naval Supreme Commander, where her father was on duty in the 1999 earthquake. This unfortunate event caused a great trauma. “I’ve always had a nomadic life. Rootlessness was a part of my life. My father was a submarine officer. He worked for NATO for a while. In Pakistan, I lived in Brussels and across more than 10 cities in Turkey. Wherever there is sea, I was there. My father was newly appointed to Gölcük. There was an earthquake on the day of the handover ceremony. Gölcük died in the army house building inside the navy. I was in Marmaris. University exam had just finished. Mom and dad would return in a week. I am someone who does not like victim psychology and goes on the road. Looking back, I think I was lucky. Because I saw that such an exam is not everyone’s fee in life. After this trauma, I clung to life to make my dreams come true and move on. I wanted to study in London. I passed the exams. I found the scholarship to cover the school expenses. After I got there, I studied at the conservatory, looking at a baby, working in catering companies and packing envelopes in the factory. ”
Childhood years: During her childhood years, she was unhappy to have changed many countries and cities. “When I was a kid, I saw this situation as a wound. But when I look at it now, I realize that if it were not so, I would not have faced many problems I have faced before. That made me me. Now I’m glad to be rootless. ”
How she decided to become an actessr: She adored musicals and studied dance for a period when she was in Belgium when she was 12-15 years old. “This story remained so after my father was appointed to Marmaris. In high school, while preparing for the conservatory exam, there was an earthquake and I entered the Marmara University Faculty of Communication with the university exam. I always knew what to do. I was going to be an actor. While I was studying at the university, I started to play in the children’s games of the Istanbul State Theaters. The desire to be an actor kept me alive. And I had a great fight with life to stop this wrong course. I went to London saying that I would study acting there instead of studying in a department I didn’t want. There are 21 academies there, I applied for 5 of them, and 4 of them accepted. I started looking for money like crazy for school. My father’s friends also helped, it happened. When I was at university, I also entered state theaters on a contract basis. I played in 3 series. ”
Educational life: Her father’s mission in Turkey as well as many cities in Pakistan, she has existed in many countries such as Belgium and England. She studied at DoDDS American schools where she has been. During her secondary school period, she studied musical acting, voice and dance in Belgium. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Communication and studied conservatory in London.
The first step to acting: She started her television adventure in 2002 with the TV series ‘Fathers Hear Last’.

One guru I met in London said I should do breathing exercises. That’s how I went to Monastery. I taught drama lessons to the children there. I still do breathing exercises every morning. By the way, my migraine has passed, I recommend. I stayed in Koinbator, my life changed. There is no need to pay thousands of dollars for treatment. I only had a room, a small mattress and a clean toilet. ”

I try to walk on the road where I can be a vehicle for something as much as I can. I had a very good childhood, I had a very nice family. I have never been overwhelmed by the events I have experienced. I never hid behind the events that happened to me. It could be worse. I could have an accident, my legs could be severed. I also do not like those who do poor literature. Get up, walk, life goes on. I never had a problem about the earthquake itself, it was about my loss. I lost my mother and father. But I don’t like being made of literature as if I had no one. I have my uncle, grandmother, cousins, and a huge Navy. ”
Her view of business life: Acting has always been an endeavor that she insists on, demands, and gives him strength. Engaging in theater taught her to read correctly, to listen correctly, to be patient, to respect her work, and to discipline. “Even though I live in different countries, my goal has always been to equip myself, to strive and to work. Sometimes I used to feel worn out and tired, but now I realize that the road itself is the main one. This is not a sprint. As time passed, I started to enjoy the road very much. I take responsibility for the people, animals and plants around me. I share my existing time and money. I persistently escape from being a possessive, everyday utilitarian. I just don’t sweep in front of my own door. I think we should grow up like this. Otherwise we are getting smaller and the bad beats us! ”
