After all, I will bear the consequences. I always think, ‘What do I want?’ I will continue to do so. I have a habit of thinking about everything at once and trying to manage and keep up with everything, which is very tiring, but even more tiring for the people in my life. I want everything to be under my control. When something goes out of my control, alarms start ringing for me. Unfortunately, this isn’t just about work-related matters. It’s like this in my entire life.”
Outlook on work life: Thinks she might quit the profession if she ever feels ‘I’ve made it’. “We do very organic work. We have to add something new to ourselves every day. Every new job is a new life for me. The place I am might be very valuable to me, but this is a very slippery slope. You can be here today, but where you’ll be tomorrow is never certain. What I’ve learned from the industry over the years: I must have a strong mental structure to handle everything. Tomorrow, you could be so famous from this job that you can’t walk down the street, or you could be in such a bad situation due to a newspaper article that you can’t walk down the street again. Everything hangs by a thread.”
Career plan: Playing different characters has always been satisfying for her. But she believes this profession is an endless process. “I can play an 18-year-old girl and a 30-year-old mother. Maintaining continuity in this sector is important. I want to be acting when I’m 50 too. I don’t have such detailed calculations regarding my career. Because I think life directs me as it brings things my way.”
Future Dream: Wants to have children and dreams of a large family. “I would like to have a large family and children. Preferably at least two. I’d be very happy if they were twins.”
Role model: Her mother. “I wish I could be even a fraction of what my mother is.”
What she does at home? A homebody. “I love rushing home when my work is done, I love home, the idea of being a family. My parents live very close by anyway. I couldn’t be happier in that sense.”
Her least favorite trait: Being controlling is sometimes tiring. “Even though I think it doesn’t bother me, it actually tires me out, and I also think I restrict the freedom of those around me.”
