Childhood years: His childhood was extremely fun. He played the most Action Man, Power Rangers and Taso games with his twin brother. “We grew up with 18 cousins who resemble Italian families, with my twin sister. We are lucky. Like many actors, it is a small love for me. Because of my twin sister, there was an interest, an attention. It was not enough for me to get the attention of being a twin. I wanted to take it to the stage. When I was in middle school, there is İspirtohane Cultural Center in Ataköy, I studied there for 2 years in summers. My twin is really my mirror. The turning point of his life: winning the same department with his twin brother in the university exam changed the course of his life. “When I won the same episode, I said ‘yes, change is necessary’ and entered the acting exams. Everything is the same with my brother. Even our DNA! That’s why I wanted our professions to be different. I am very happy with where I am now. ”
The first step to acting: He started his television adventure with the character “Necati”, which he portrayed in the TV series “Time Goes By”.
With which project did he shine? He drew attention with the character of “Cihan Sipahi” in the “War of the Roses” series.
Personality traits: Adventurous, freedom-loving, likes to take risks. He can behave in an unusual place and never before, so his friends call him “unconscious.” “Unconscious” was a nickname my favorite professor gave me at the university. Although I didn’t like it at first, I accepted it later and realized that the word unconscious suited me very well. Social: He likes to travel in his spare time. “I can say that I have a very busy life. Although we don’t have a lot of free time while doing TV series, I do exercise regularly, at least three days a week. Another thing I do regularly is traveling the world. But instead of touristic trips, I usually prefer to go spontaneously with my backpack. It feels much more enjoyable for me to meet foreign people, befriend the locals living in the area I go to and explore the area with them. I always say; Meeting people is like reading a book for me. We were shooting TV series like making a theater. I had the opportunity to go to Macedonia and work abroad with the “Son Yaz Balkanlar” series. Then came the role of Cihan in the “War of the Roses”. I gave life to a disabled character. Very few actors have such a role. I couldn’t say no to any of these projects. During this period, I had the opportunity to make 3 movies and many commercials. I am constantly grateful and most importantly I do my job very fondly. I hope my career continues in this direction. ”
Career plan: He wants to portray strong, female, and most importantly, troubled characters, no matter what. “I love making cinema, I think cinema is the best area of acting. What we call Young is a situation that requires some photography. Today I play the leading role, but the leading roles are not necessarily characters who want a young man. Because our audience is very conscious now; the most important thing is to be genuine and sincere. Today I’m the leading role, but tomorrow the audience can see me as a side role in a project I love very much.
What would you want to be if you weren’t an actor? He wanted to be a psychologist or a pilot.
Who does he admire? He wants to work with the director Ferzan Özpetek. “I admire every film by Ferzan Özpetek. I guess because of their psychological approach. ”
