His view of life: He does not want to take part in jobs that are of poor quality. “I get a lot of singles but I’m being picky I guess I’m not professional enough. Professionalism is to do your job and get money in return. I’m a little more emotional. I do not want to do things that will be ashamed and bored. ”Nobody should tell me ‘you are charismatic with a gun’. When I go out, I want me not to let anyone say, “Wow, you are a beautiful mafia man” or “You are so charismatic with a gun in hand”. That’s exactly why I accepted the series of doctors. I said, “Everyone is dying, we will die, we will strive to give life to people in the drama.”
His view of business life: He thinks that television and theater are both important separately. “Acting is acting. In one, you reach people directly with blood. In the other, you can enter people’s house directly, you become their guest. Television is what makes our recognition stronger, strengthens our ties with people and instantly creates sincerity. That’s why TV acting is also very valuable. In the theater, you can directly touch the people who come there, this physical contact both to your feelings, hearts and eyes creates something else. They create another artistic force, I think both are important. ”
Career plan: He wants to give life to the characters who accomplished great things in Turkey. “Every character is a new adventure. Stanislavskiy has a book to create characters. You catch a character role you play every subject except Sheakspear classic games I like to play characters has done very important work in Turkey. Yes, I would really like to play Atatürk’s life. I would like to play Nazım Hikmet, Mevlana, Yunus Emre. I can represent Turkey abroad, except that I want to play a good movie, of course. ”
How being a father has affected his life: He has two sons and he says he is constantly learning new things from them. “Actually, I am not teaching them anything, I learn everything from them. I have only undertaken a task, we are preparing for life now, we are intermediaries, I try to grow it by expressing the truths that I know, not only by telling but never by saying that you will do this, but by telling them. As a father, I learned patience, learned to be a good person, you learn to be more just, for example, you do not worry about the future because they are my future. So you don’t ask what will happen, you just live in the moment.
What does he recommend to those who want to be actors? He thinks that those who want to be actors must first be talented. “If they have abilities and make a waste of effort, their lives will turn dark. It’s not important to be famous, it’s not important to be famous. The important thing is to do your job well and be human. Because this is not an easy thing to handle. Psychologically and mentally, it is both tiring and when a person feels famous, he sees himself outside and above other people. Once they are humble, learn to be human, it is not a very difficult thing to be an actor other than that, if they only work, their skills will emerge one day, but they will not eat without labor, they definitely need to spend effort on this job. They need to read a lot, travel, watch movies, contact people directly, because our job is to observe. As long as they can do this, I think they will be successful. ”
Concerns: He is worried that the rating anxiety is getting ahead of the quality of the TV series. “The storm of TV series on the screens has created an industry, just like a company doing business, making money stays on the screens, others are eliminated. There is a problem because the TV is based on rating rather than quality. However, the real success is the series that are aired without compromising their quality. Considering the quality, we see that the works have been owned by the people over time and have survived for years. For example, ‘Second Spring’ and ‘Super Dad’ were such dramas. At first, they were the series that progressed with low ratings, but over time became embraced and the next episode was long drawn. These are the studies to be followed if it is published again today. ”
