The farewell process of famous names in the Yasak Elma (Forbidden Apple) series, which continues its sixth season and is scheduled to make its finale in June, started with Bekir Aksoy. The actor, who was included in the series this season, had to say goodbye to the story with the character of Engin Kılıç due to the scenario.
Bekir Aksoy had to leave the story of the series in a very interesting way. Although the character of Engin, who died after the scorpion sting, caused some surprise, nothing would seem strange to the audience for the Yasak Elma, which is actually described as ‘the series that makes fun of itself’.
Eda Ece and Şevval Sam have been working intensely for six seasons in the series, and Sevda Erginci, who took part in the first two seasons, is also included in the team in the last period.
Bekir Aksoy, who could not stay in the story for a long time despite being a new member of the Yasak Elma series, almost made fun of the series with the statements he made in the television program he participated in.
It sounds a bit strange and absurd to die after a scorpion sting from a TV show whose story takes place in Istanbul. However, this is exactly what is intended in the Yasak Elma series.
The actor used the following words: “The script seemed ridiculous to me. So I questioned it and said, ‘This shouldn’t happen here’. I guess no one has died from scorpion in Istanbul for 500 years. We discussed this issue with the production company. It may be a mockery, but that’s what the screenwriter wanted. It’s unfair to me and to the drama ‘Yasak Elma’ that I die like this.”
With these words of Bekir Aksoy, it is understood how seriously he takes the series. However, when the Yasak Elma was a drama story for the first two seasons, things didn’t go that way, it was turned into a story full of absurdities. The audience of the series also preferred to describe it as a series that exaggerated the events and made fun of itself from time to time. In other words, it is quite normal for a person to die in Istanbul with a scorpion for the Forbidden Apple, because isn’t the goal to make the story as absurd and exaggerated as possible?
Looking at Bekir Aksoy’s words, he seems to care too much about the Yasak Elma TV series.
