Family: He was born in Diyarbakır because his father was a petty officer and was there because of his duty. It is originally from Izmir. He has two older sisters. Since his father was a soldier, he spent his childhood in various provinces. After he was born in Diyarbakır in 1983, his appointments went to Bartın in 1986 and Kayseri came in 1995 and then Izmir in 1997.
Childhood years: He had a childhood full of good memories in his memory. “Military service was my father’s profession, only my father when he came home. I am one of the children who grew up wrestling with his father. I was in my father’s hand, my sister was always on his back. You will hug your child first, then you will demand to touch his life. We are a family that knows how to hug each other. So our lives are still touching each other. ”
Education life: He graduated from 9 Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty Performing Arts Acting Major in İzmir. He completed his master’s degree at the Theater Department of Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul.
The turning point of his life: In 2000, when he started teaching, he became a group of friends playing guitar and singing. He decided that he wanted to be interested in music by being influenced by them. “One day, a girl came to the place where we took the stage in İzmir. As soon as she sat, she started to cry. She was a very beautiful girl! So I went over to her and asked her why she was crying, that they were doing theater and that her plays would start a week later; however, she explained that the lead actor left them. I said to her, “I play.” When the girl asked me if I was an actor, I replied “yes”. And a week later, I was on the stage for the first time. After that, the girl left the theater. I suddenly became an idealist, I left the girl because she left the theater! ”
First step to acting: While he was studying at the university, he started his acting life with a small role in the series named “Bullet Wound” directed by director Sadullah Çelen.
With which project did it shine? In 2006, Barış Akarsu got attention with his ‘Yalancı Yarim’ series, which he played with Merve Sevi, Bülent Kayabaş, Ünal Silver, Nilgün Belgün, Suna Pekuysal.
Personality traits: He does not give much importance to anything in life. It does not hold a grudge, it is a good observer, empathy power is high.

As soon as I entered, both the name and surname of the character and my own name and surname became trend topics. After that day, life continued in another momentum for me, in every sense. ”
Future Future : To continue to appear in different roles. “I don’t know how to do anything else. Acting is something like this anyway. The man who knows a little bit of everything but knows nothing is the actor. I don’t know everything the doctor knows, but I play the doctor. My observation is good, my empathy power is good. What I know exactly is that I make money from acting and acting. ”
Concerns: Theater should not be neglected. “We are aware that the habit of theater has been lost; we shouldn’t pretend it doesn’t exist. Is the crime here only in the audience? No it is not. Where? Theaters, actors, directors, lighters, everyone… The theater has very strong rivals such as television and cinema. Why should I go to the theater or watch me on TV every Saturday while the three-dimensional movie is standing, why should I get on the bus and come watch me? Best friend in the industry : Buğra Gülsoy. “We played four years ago in the series ‘We Are All For One’, we met there first. We were sincere in that set, then we set up our theater, we built our houses side by side, and we never broke again. ”
