Family: On 19 June 2008, he married actress Gamze Özçelik, with whom he acted a role in the TV series Arka Sokaklar. The couple, who had a son named Murathan in 2010, divorced on December 26, 2011.

Education life: Graduated from Kocaeli University, Department of Hotel Management. He also worked as a tour guide and as an organizer in the party team of a beer company. He also owns Auto repair and maintenance service shop, which he shares with his father.

The turning point of his life: The Survivor competition he participated in 2005 changed the course of his life. He drew attention as the first champion of Survivor. He then starred in the TV series Back Streets for many years.

The first step into acting: He started his television adventure in 2005 with the character of “Doğan Helvacı”, which he portrayed in the TV series “Düşler ve Gerçekler”.

Which project did it shine with? He attracted attention with the character of “Commissioner Murat”, which he portrayed in the TV series “Arka Sokaklar”.

Personality traits: It has a structure that does not fit one moment with the other. Sometimes he is very happy, after a minute he can be the most unhappy person. “Or someone who is very talkative but also listens a lot. Then it jumps a lot, but after a moment there is no trace of it either. And even very good for a while, but when the moment comes the most unscrupulous in the world. So I have a palette of emotions in me. It changes to that color, then to that color. Sometimes I just live them inside of me, sometimes I just express them. I don’t know if it’s called imbalance. But I can say this; I’m open enough to be affected by anything. Not only from people, but from trees, even from birds. But there are also moments when I am not under any influence.”

His view of love: “Every love begins to end, but in the end, what we need to do is learn from our experiences, get to know and develop ourselves better. I think that’s the only real purpose in life. One day it will all be over. If I am in love, I am one of the most romantic men in the world. But if I’m bored from the other side; I can be the biggest ox in the world!”

Mindset: He believes in the importance of being at peace with one’s inner world. “When I look in the mirror, sometimes I see a very nice guy. Sometimes, I can’t even say, ‘Who is this?’ But I guess it fits in the mirror as it is for me. If you are at peace with your inner world, you will see the sweetest person in the world in the mirror. But if you have fights in you, you start to avoid mirrors too.”

Source of happiness: He is happy with the attention of his fans. “I hear very good words. While walking on the street or something, a very nice electricity is created between me and them. Some can come and talk to me, some are hesitant, but I can understand it from their looks. But in general, their interest makes me happy. Of course, I can easily enter and leave the grocery store and pharmacy as before. I am unhappy when I can’t live the way I want anyway. Just because what I’m doing is being televised makes other people get to know me. That’s the whole point.”

First feature film: Sami Güçlü/ Takım: Vatan Sana Canım Feda

His outlook on life: He lets life flow and listens to the voice of his heart. “Life is short. We should appreciate every moment. We must know the rules that all the books or people say, but we must live by listening to the voice of our heart. If we want to make the world more livable, we must first make peace with ourselves and then with our neighbors.”

Perspective on business life: “There is one bad side of acting; always having something better to do. When I watch myself, I always look at myself with a critical eye, even eat myself and always say, ‘How can I do better?’ I already love action movies. We also came out of a competition like Survivor. The screenwriters did not ignore this either. As I always want such roles, it seems like a kind of telepathy arises between us and the screenwriters.”

Which movie was he influenced by: He finds the movie ‘Braveheart’ very impressive.
