Famous actress Tuba Ünsal is preparing to bring Ayşe Kulin’s novel “Adı Aylin” to the stage. The actress, who has come to the fore with her passion for theater in recent years, opened her mouth for the project.
Tuba Ünsal also announced the good news with the answer given by a follower on her Instagram account to the question, “Will you have a theater play in the new season?” Tuba Ünsal’s plays “Kürk Mantolu Madonna” and “Lal Hayal”, who made a name for herself with her investments in theater in recent years, were sold out. This time, Ünsal will adapt the famous writer Ayşe Kulin’s book ‘Her Name is Aylin’ to the theater. Tuba Ünsal, who spared no expense to provide a visual feast to the audience, will spend 2 million TL for the production.
The play will be staged in the Middle East at the same time as Turkey. Speaking on the subject, Tuba Ünsal said, “Adı Aylin, it will be a special show that will be staged for the first time in Turkey in the style of ‘Off Broadway’.” Two years ago, Ünsal announced that she had come to the point of mortgaging her house while he was bringing Sabahattin Ali’s cult work “Kürk Mantolu Madonna” to the stage. The play, in which Tuba Ünsal both starred and produced, broke a sold-out box office record last season.
The actress, who has not been seen on television screens for a long time, recently met with the audience in Netflix’s ‘Love 101’ series. The actress played the adult version of the character “Eda” in the series. Season 2 of ‘Love 101’ will air on September 30.
