The TV series “46 Yok Olan” entered the literature as the first 60-minute TV series broadcast in Turkey. At that time, there were news in the press that the series was a Turkish adaptation of the drama series “Breaking Bad”, which was screened in the United States in 2008. However, Erdal Beşikçioğlu, the leading actor of the series, reacted harshly to these allegations; ‘We don’t have the right to do something original, can’t we? Will it necessarily be a copy of something else? We are a consuming society. These stories come from some insecure, fantasy-deprived minds.” The series, which appeared before the audience with a different scenario and a strong cast, made a big impact on social media, but the screen life lasted 13 episodes when it could not give what was expected in the ratings.
STORY:
Murat Günay (Erdal Beşikçioğlu), one of the few genetics professors in Turkey; He is a professor dedicated to the treatment of a disease, trying to keep his sister Ezo (Ayça Eren) alive, who has been in a coma for five years as a result of an incurable disease.
Our character, who lost those around him over time and left by many, discovers a medicine that can be considered hope for hundreds of patients on this difficult road, and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a great chain of events.
Nothing will ever be the same for the professor who has been in pursuit of the truth and has come this far without compromising his faith. This secret discovery will change the lives of many people, both acquainted and unknown.
