Theater and TV series actress Semra Dinçer passed away. The actress played the mother of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Buğra Gülsoy in the series Kuzey ve Güney.
Haluk Levent announced the death of Semra Dinçer. Haluk Levent wrote on his social media account: “It was lung cancer. From 2 years ago, Ahbaplar took care of it. We did not name it. We just wrote it as S.D. A house was rented twice by benefactors, and numerous operations were performed. But it didn’t work. We just lost our sister actress Semra Dinçer. Condolences to her loved ones.”
Born in 1965, Semra Dinçer was known for her successful performances, although she did not receive any acting training. Semra Dinçer started her acting career in 1984 with the TV series Köşe Dönücü. She has appeared in many TV series such as Barışta Savaşanlar, Suçlu Kim, Örümcek, Kıvılcım, Yılan Hikayesi, Kimyacı, Profesyoneller, Yağmurdan Sonra, Geniş Zamanlar, Kavak Yelleri.
Semra Dinçer’s most memorable role was in the TV series Kuzey Güney, which attracted great attention at the time it was broadcast. The actress successfully portrayed Handan Tekinoğlu, the mother of Buğra Gülsoy and Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ.
After Kuzey Güney, the master actor, who played the character of Reyhan Sezgin in the Istanbullu Gelin series, was last seen as a guest actor in the Kırmızı Oda.
Semra Dinçer died at the age of 56 due to lung cancer.
