Audiences in Arab countries are living the new era created by adaptations of Turkish TV series. This adaptation trend, started by Shadid channel within the MBC media organization, continues rapidly.
Television critic Sina Koloğlu also shared the information she gained on social media. Giving the message that adaptations are increasing gradually, Koloğlu states that this process started with the İstanbullu Gelin (Bride of Istanbul), which was adapted for Lebanon as the Bride from Beirut.
New ones have been added to the adapted series one by one. The TV series İyi Günde Kötü Günde (Good Days, Bad Days), which lasted 6 episodes in Turkey, was broadcast in Arab countries under the name “Ever After”.
Binbir Gece series, which left its mark on a period, has been meeting with the audience since January under the name “Al Thaman”. Stiletto, an adaptation of the TV series Ufak Tefek Cinayetler (Small Murders), was also released.
According to the information given by Sina Koloğlu, there are many more TV series to come. For example, Kiralık Aşk (Love for Rent) was put in order, which marked a period and helped popularize Barış Arduç and Elçin Sangu.
Adapted from the BBC’s format Doctor Foster, the Sadakitsiz (Unfaithful) series was broadcast in many countries of the world, even surpassing the original. Now it has been revealed that the Arab adaptation of this series has been filmed.
It has been revealed that the adaptation episodes of Sadakatsiz will be published soon, along with the Güllerin Savaşı (War of the Roses) series.
İçerde (Inside) is another TV series shared by Sina Koloğlu. It has been revealed that the Arabic adaptation of the TV series İçerde, which has the leading roles of Çağatay Ulusoy and Aras Bulut İynemli and left its mark on a period, will be made.
