Standing out with its rich cast, A Mother’s Guilt is adapted from the TV series ‘A Mother’s Guilt’, which broke the ratings records in the Philippines. The sad story of a woman who struggles to survive with her children, who had to kill a man to save her son, and then regrets this… After the woman kills the man to save her son, her recovered son struggles for justice to find the killer.
Özge Özberk, which we are used to seeing in stories of powerful women, also gives life to the character of Suna. Even though Musa Uzunlar dies in the first part of the series as Sadri, he later appears as a ghost in Suna’s life and becomes the emotional leg of the series, the point of conscience.
STORY:
Suna is a beautiful woman in her early 40s. She has a small fishing shop she barely runs on the Göksu. She lives in a slum in a garden near Göksu with her children. She raised her teeth from tooth to toe and on the one hand had her children educated, on the other hand she entered the house cooperative so that they could have a house where they could put their heads. Her biggest support in life is her elder son Yusuf.
Yusuf is a handsome and smart, very mischievous boy in his early twenties. Yusuf is someone who puts his family above everything else, is successful in his lessons, takes care of his siblings, understands his condition despite all poverty, is mature for his age, that is, is aware of “real life”. Alone, he avoids everything her mother, who was both maternal and paternal to them. His mother taught him and brought him to the last year of university.
Good days are near in Suna’s mind. When the house is finished, and Yusuf graduates and the lawyer leaves, everything will be fine. Suna, who has been working breathless for years, will close the fisherman’s shop and cook meals at home only for her children. In fact, when Yusuf marries his auspicious one day, Suna will love her grandchildren. But while poor Suna runs into these beautiful dreams she has dreamed of, she is unaware of the trip that fate will put on her.
