Sarp Akkaya said, “I was 13 years old and my parents decided to separate. This creates havoc in the child, and it did in me too. Kaya also has less, my sister has much less. It was a difficult process from the age of 13 until the age of 21-22, being the child of divorced parents. We still have breakfast together on Eid mornings, but people look for his absence. I remember walking around the house wondering when I would grow up, why would a child want to grow up? he said.
