Hande Erçel, the lead actress of the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı, took on a very meaningful task. Erçel became the Goodwill Ambassador of the Kansersiz Yaşam Derneği.
The young actress lost her mother Aylin Erçel in 2019 due to cancer. Erçel, who lost her mother at a very young age, undertook a very meaningful task for this purpose. Acting as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Kansersiz Yaşam Derneği, Erçel took part in the association’s promotional film.
Erçel said that this task is a very valuable project for her. Hande Erçel, who was caught by journalists while leaving her managerial office, stated that she signed a shooting that excited her.
As the Goodwill Ambassador, Hande Erçel calls for support to cancer patients and their families in the social responsibility film of the association. In her statement about her new position, Erçel said:
“I met the Kansersiz Yaşam Derneği when I needed to hear that life goes on no matter what. I learned that they opened departments in hospitals for the treatment of thousands of children and that they also provided psychological support to the families of those children. I saw that they helped hundreds of people become blood and stem cell donors, and they produced project after project to explain the importance of health. All of this has reminded me that I have to accept the things I cannot change, and use my strength for what I can.”
Hande Erçel’s mother, Aylin Erçel, died at the age of 48 after receiving treatment for eight months. Hande Erçel buried her mother on January 11.
