Awakening: Everything about the Awakening Great Seljuk series is a matter of curiosity. Bringing the period and political events of the Seljuk State to the screen, Awakening Great Seljuk series attracted all the attention with its cast, costumes, historical places and its subject. Scenario work lasted for 3 years, while the preparation process was 60 days for Awakening Great Seljuk series, shooting took 8 days and the longest battle scene in Turkish television history was shot. There were 400 supporting actors, 100 of which were horsemen, in this scene. All actors, especially the leading actors, were given special action, horse riding and sword training by the action director of the Nomad Stunts team, which organized the choreography of Hollywood movies for a month.
STORY:
Awakening: The Great Seljuk is bringing an epic journey kneaded with love, secret and struggle to the screens. Melikşah enters the throne after the death of the Seljuk ruler Sultan Alparslan, who opened the doors of Anatolia to the Turks. On the same day, he also received the news that he lost his beloved Kipchak girl Başulu while giving birth. Due to the Kipchak-Seljuk hostility, the newborn baby poses a danger to the continuity of the state. Although this situation is very difficult for Melikşah, he handed him over to Nizamülmülk so that he would not see and ask again.
Sultan Melikşah maximizes the power of the Seljuk State, which he took from Sultan Alparslan. However, as the Seljuk grows, its enemies increase both inside and outside the state.
Sencer, who grew up with the motto that his destiny was written with the state from his birth and that his only purpose would be to serve the state until his death, became an idealist hero with years of education and these heroisms made him the sacrifice of Sultan Melikşah. Sencer, one of Nizamülmülk’s most trusted men, is ready to undertake all the difficult tasks for his state.
While Melikşah and Sencer are struggling with various dangers, their biggest supporters will be competent statesmen like Nizamülmülk, scholars like Gazali, scientists like Ömer Hayyam, and enlightened people like Yusuf Hamedani. On the other hand, the noble nobleman from the Karakhanid dynasty, Terken, wants to dominate the state with the power of being the daughter of Melikşah. But in the face of his ambitions, it will be Seferiye, mother of Melikşah, who is the head of the state, Gevher who is the daughter of Tapar, the son of Melikşah, and the noble Turkmen daughter Elçin who will change the balance with her arrival to the palace.
Sworn to destroy the Seljuks, Hasan Sabbah, the dangerous intrigues of Terken, who wanted to dominate the state, and the stormy love that Sencer will have with Turna, who is in a relentless struggle in the midst of all, are also on the screen.
CHARACTERS:
Buğra Gülsoy (Sultan Melikşah) is the ruler of the Great Seljuk Empire.
Hatice Şendil (Terken Hatun) Melikşah’s ambitious and passionate wife, owner of his heart. Later she will be the Chief of the Palace.

PLACES:
The preparation process that started for the shooting of the Awakening Great Seljuk TV series was completed in 13 months. For the series, a palace, madrasa and caravansary were established on the 7,500 m2 closed plateau, while on the 50,000 m2 open plateau, two separate plateaus were built, where the Anatolian Seljuk Obası and Kınık Obası, Şelemzar City, Isfahan City and Byzantine Castle were established. Plato was established in the forest area in Istanbul Beykoz and Riva.
