Famous actress Başak Gümülcinelioğlu made a big career breakthrough with the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı (Love is in the Air), and then succeeded in impressing millions with the character of Neva in the TV series Yargı (Judgement).

Taking firm steps forward in her career and continuing to surprise her fans with new projects, the actress started a program for street animals on Onedio’s youtube channel. Başak Gümülcinelioğlu turned the friendship that started on the set into love with Çağrı Çıtanak, with whom she played a role in the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı. Two famous names were appreciated with the program where they tried to raise awareness for street animals.

Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, pointing out the importance of positioning an animal as a family member and sharing life with it, said: “It is estimated that 4 million cats and approximately 1 million dogs live in homes with their owners in Turkey. When choosing a cat, a dog or a bird, it is very important to have information about the breed and personality of that animal. In this program, we will get to know both the races and character traits of our dear friends.”

Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, who introduced her family as it was the opening of the program, hosted her lover Çağrı Çıtanak and her two dogs as guests on her first show.

Introducing her two dogs, Ajan and Martı, to the audience, the famous actress also provided information about their characters and breeds.

While Çağrı Çıtanak and Başak Gümülcinelioğlu made a strong impression with their sympathetic attitude in this program, they called on the audience to support food for stray animals.

Actor Çağrı Çıtanak stated that he was very pleased that his lover started such a program and was instrumental in voicing the problems of stray animals.

Cagri Çıtanak, who praised his lover, said, “Because you are instrumental in such a thing, because it is such a production, because such a job is undertaken, I was the guest of the first program on behalf of everyone who helps all stray animals.”

It was also revealed for the first time in the program that Çıtanak turned it into a phobia after a dog attack. Başak Gümülcinelioğlu, who brought the subject up as an example for those who have animal phobia and do not know how to love them, was appreciated by her fans for her efforts for street animals.
