Bir Zamanlar Çukurova (Once Upon a Time Çukurova) series continued for 4 seasons and became a production that affected millions of viewers. There were problems at different times on the set between Kerem Alışık, who is in the lead roles in the series, and Uğur Güneş and Murat Ünalmış, the other two leading actors.
After the events between Kerem Alışık and Uğur Güneş, there were many claims that the atmosphere on the set was very tense. Uğur Güneş later said goodbye to the series early and it was evaluated that this fight was very effective in the separation.
In the third season of Bir Zamanlar Çukurova, there was a fight on the set between Kerem Alışık and Murat Ünalmış, and the tension reached the producer. Later, it was revealed that this fight was also transferred to the prosecutor’s office and a defamation lawsuit was filed. Upon the request of Murat Ünalmış, who filed a criminal complaint that Kerem Alışık had insulted him, the prosecution accepted the case.
The lawsuit for defamation was concluded and it was revealed by the statements of witnesses that Kerem Alışık insulted his co-star Murat Ünalmış. With the conclusion of the lawsuit filed in 2021, the issue was brought to the agenda again.
As a result of the lawsuit, Kerem Alışık was sentenced to a judicial fine in accordance with Article 125/1 of the Turkish Penal Code, considering the way the crime was committed, the importance and value of the subject of the crime, the gravity of the accused’s intent and purpose.
The incident took place on April 24, 2021, during the filming in Adana’s Karaahmetli village. On the set, Kerem Alışık addressed Murat Ünalmış as “son of cucumber cucumber” in the alleged fight due to the script, and this word was the subject of the lawsuit.
