Birce Akalay, who has become popular all over the world with the TV series Kuş Uçuşu (Bird Flight) and Mezarlık (Cemetery), which was broadcast on Netflix last year, also warns about important issues with the posts she made on social media after the earthquake disaster.
The actress, who has been on the set for the second season of the Kuş Uçuşu series, shares various posts on her social media account after the big earthquakes that occurred twice in a row in Kahramanmaraş on Monday, February 6th.
Birce Akalay, who made the voices of those who were under the rubble and wanted help and shared the wishes of those in need, also attracted attention with her various views.
Birce Akalay, who stated that hostile attitudes were still exhibited while experiencing such great pain in such a great disaster, expressed her rebellion with the following words:
“I don’t understand the human being who can still display hostile attitudes in such a great disaster, in such a great pain, friend! I will not understand. No one should try to spoil our feelings anymore. We have brothers more important than us right now. Shut up and let’s go about our business.”
Expressing that the aid to the disaster area should be done consciously, the famous actress stated that the earthquake victims with diseases should not be forgotten.
Birce Akalay, who also stated that the people got together and started collecting aid right after the earthquake, said that “Mobilization should be declared” and stated that everyone should come to the aid of those who experienced this disaster.
Mentioning that the public should watch the trial of the contractors of the demolished buildings live, the actress said, “This is a case that has cost the society.”
