The first lead actor of Kanal D’s new series “Dönence” has been announced… The shooting of the “Exceptional” adaptation “Dönence”, which won an award from Cannes, will soon begin in İzmir Foça.
The first leading actor of “Dönence”, which will come to the Kanal D screen in the summer season and whose casting and preparation works continue, has been announced. Produced by Kanal D Productions and prepared to leave its mark on the season, successful actor Caner Topçu was agreed with. The handsome actor will give life to the character of Özgür in the series.
The Israeli-formatted, original title “Exceptional”, was awarded the 2022 MIPCOM Cannes Diversify TV Award in France for its awareness-raising screenplay.
With its magnificent beauty, Dönence will be shot in Foça and will await the attention of the audience during the summer period.
Dönence Gülce, who will create a visual feast on the screen with Foça’s historical texture, stone houses, unforgettable sunset views and unique natural beauties, will bring to the screen the story of Gece, his sister with asperger syndrome.
Kerem Çakıroğlu, who also brought Kavak Yelleri to the screen, will sit in the director’s chair of the series, which will be signed by Kanal D Productions. Nuray Uslu is writing Dönence, which is planned to be on the set soon and will touch the hearts of people of all ages with its story.
