Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu cannot be counted among the actors who can be described as a master of character creation. Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, who is one of the names of the Turkish theater, TV series and cinema world, whose value is better understood with each passing year, gives acting lessons to her young colleagues through the serial characters she plays.

Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu’s success becomes clearer when those who see the main character of Fatma in the Gül Masalı (Rose Tale) series know that the person who plays this role has a completely different personality as Peride in Ara, Menajerimi Ara (Call my Manager). It is obvious that the actor exhibited a mastery in making the audience feel the emotions of people from completely opposite and different cultures.

For those who have not forgotten the character of Meftune, who is famous for her witchcraft in the Ferhunde Hanımlar series, Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu is well aware of her success in character change like a chameleon. After the Ferhunde Hanımlar series, which started in 1993 and continued until 1999, Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu took part in different productions.

In recent years, the actress has successfully portrayed the character of Zahide in the Jet Society TV series, Peride in the TV series Menajerimi Ara, Şahver in the Yargı (Judgment) series and Fatma in the Gül Masalı series.

The Gül Masalı (Rose Tale) continues on the ATV screen on Sunday evenings, and Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu appears before her fans with a completely different depiction of an Anatolian woman, as she has done for many years.

Stating that when the script came to her, she immediately realized that a very delicious role was offered to her, the master actress also revealed how important it is for her to portray different characters with the following words in her interview on ATV’s digital channel:

“When I read the script, I saw that a very delicious role was offered to me. I am a character actor and I take great pleasure in playing characters that are attractive, characters that are not ordinary, extraordinary, not easily like others, even challenging me. That’s how I was in the theatre.”

Ayşenil Şamlıoğlu, who reminds me of a word that my fellow actresses said to her, does not want to portray a character similar to her. The following words of the actress, who aims to portray a character who is far away from her, also draws attention:

“One day they will tell you to play a normal role and they will say that because you do not know how to play, you will start researching. It really is. I’ve always played the extreme ones. As an actor, I don’t want to play someone who looks like me. The further I go from me, the more I become someone else, that’s when I’ll be happy. I mean, when I look back at the character I played, there are many women and men between that character and me. When this happens, I also feel pleasure as an actor. Because it is also challenging yourself.”

She stated that the main character of Fatma in the Gül Masalı TV series is a very distant character from her and that she takes great pleasure in discovering her.

Stating that she discovers other sides of Fatma when she receives each episode of the script, the actress added that she is pleased to get to know the different aspects of the character.
