Erdal Özyağcılar, who went to Macedonia again after years and took the lead role in the Balkan Ninnisi series, had been in this country before for the Elveda Rumeli (Farewell Rumelia) project. After the completion of the shootings in Skopje, which he made on his nostalgic trips to the past, the master actor returned to Istanbul again.

Explaining that he did not do anything after the end of the series, the actor said that he was very tired there and that he felt tired because he had an illness.

Mentioning that the world of TV series turned into a small industry when digital platforms became widespread, Erdal Özyağcılar said, “They produce successful works.”

Explaining that he has been watching digital projects for the last 1.5 years, the actor said that there are projects that he was very surprised by. Özyağcılar said, “There are forces of nature, ghosts and witches in all stories. How do people watch these series, you get bored after two episodes. There is something strange about all of them. It is not sincere, it is easy,” he said.

Erdal Özyağcılar explained that he wrote a horror-oriented but realistic story because he was angry with these digital TV series projects. The master actor said, “I am writing about a family that does funeral services.”

Erdal Özyağcılar, who did not want to give details about its content due to fear of being stolen, drew attention to the movie Güven Bana, which will be released on February 24.

Explaining that he also took part and that they worked with director Selçuk Aydemir, the actor said, “Watch it, it was a very interesting movie. Güven Bana in Japan, England or Italy, they laugh. It became a universal comedy film,” he said.
