tabii’s New Original Series “Sürgünler” is Coming to the Set
TRT’s digital platform, Tabii, continues to offer exciting new projects. One of these projects, the Tabii original series “Sürgünler”, takes the audience back to the years of World War II and tells the story of Halil, who was imprisoned as a result of a conspiracy.
“Sürgünler”, starring talented names of the young generation Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler, is getting ready to meet the audience.
Directed by Barış Erçetin, the original series of Tabii features Oktay Çubuk and Ezgi Şenler as the characters Halil and Meryem, whose paths intersect in prison, while the successful actor Serdar Orçin plays the character of the cruel prison warden Vural.
The original story of the series was written by Selen Mert Taşkın, while the script was written by Volkan Sümbül.
“Sürgünler”, which takes place during the World War II, tells the story of Halil, the heir of a large tribe, who is exiled to Sinop Prison as a result of a conspiracy, and his struggle to escape from there in order to uncover the truth and take revenge.
When he crosses paths with Meryem, the idealist prison doctor, the events become even more complicated and gripping.
tabi’s new original series “Sürgünler” aims to lock viewers to the screen with its strong cast and remarkable script, while offering a story with historical and emotional depth.
