Bringing Özge Özpirinçci and Salih Bademci together, the “İlk ve Son” series will be broadcast on BluTV on August 25. In an interview with Onur Baştürk from Hürriyet Newspaper, the beautiful actress Özge Özpirinçci made candid statements about her new series, her pregnancy, the name she wants to give to her child and her relationship with her lover Burak Yamantürk.
The actress said the following about the “İlk ve Son” series, “It tells about the emotions in the early days of a relationship and the period when it seems like apathy in the last days, but actually experienced very intense things, that is, the anatomy of a relationship. Two wounded souls initially think they are good for each other. But since they never try to cure themselves in a relationship, they start to hurt each other after a while. This is a relationship model that we see very often around us.”
Özge Özpirinçci, who has been in love with Burak Yamantürk since 2014, whom she met on the set of the TV series “Tatar Ramazan”, is currently 5 months pregnant and the couple will have a daughter. So, what name will Özge Özpirinçci give to her daughter?
Explaining that she had only one name in her mind since she got pregnant, but that her people made fun of this name, Özpirinçci wants to name her daughter “Grape”. Let’s see what the actress said about this issue; “There has been a lot of ridicule about this name. Everyone keeps telling me, ‘Don’t do this to your child, Özge’. I think it’s a beautiful name. Little boy Üzüm, young girl Üzüm, Üzüm Hanım in her 35s, Üzüm aunt at 70… Also Üzüm Yamantürk sounds very phonetic. But I definitely got a downvote for this name. I think I will secretly call my child Grape.”
Özge Özpirinçci, who pointed out that Burak Yamantürk was difficult to like, explained that for this reason they could not clarify the subject of the name and said, “Burak is extremely difficult to like. I always hang out from time to time, saying, ‘How did you like me!’ It has very high standards. Especially when it comes to food. Because she also cooks very well. As for the name, I tell him a lot of names. It says possible, put it on the list. She keeps saying, “Let’s think about it.”
Stating that she wants her child to be an individual who respects nature, the actress continued her words as follows;
“Obviously, I have concerns for nature and the planet, not for social culture. Because it doesn’t matter if it’s a boy or a girl, I want the creature I will bring into the world, first of all, to respect nature. Because we can heal each other as a society. We will go towards better days, we strive for it. Without hope, I would not be able to carry a five-and-a-half-month-old baby in my womb right now. I see this hope in my own little circle around me and in Generation Z as well. When I chat with my nephews, my friends’ young children, I see little people who respect each other. They shine so beautifully! As a senior generation, all we have to do is not take their glow. I think this happened to the generation before us. Otherwise, everyone comes into the world bright. But the generation before you is afraid of your shine and is trying to bring you down. What we have to do is not cut off the shine of those newcomers.”
So, will Özge Özpirinçci marry her child’s father, Burak Yamantürk, before giving birth?
“Of course, our bureaucratic and legal marriage provides a safer environment for the baby,” said the actress. For the state to see us as family. But at the wedding event, I said this very clearly to Burak: I can’t host anyone at a wedding that I can’t have fun with. That’s why we’re going to have a wedding at a time when I can have fun like the guests. It will probably be next summer. We are in no hurry. We are two souls who have already found each other. We crown this with our baby! We will celebrate it in the future,” she said.
In the interview, Özge Özpirinçci gave the signal that she wants to raise her child herself and that she will not be involved in a project during this period with the following words. “The child becomes like a mother’s child for the first 2-3 years. That’s why I had to set a point where I could stay for a year or two in terms of career. I had to reach the saturation point in my job. I reached that point with the ‘Kadın’ and then the ‘İlk ve Son’, and I was absorbed.”
