Mert Fırat, who starred with Nurgül Yeşilçay in the TV series Kefaret last season, is currently making efforts for theater activities. Mert Fırat, one of the founders of DasDas, attended the premiere of Ahsen Eroğlu’s first play.
Answering the question about the young actors turning to the theater recently, Mert Fırat said that the stage suits Ahsen Eroğlu very well. Mentioning that theater is a job that requires a lot of effort, the famous actor said, “It takes a lot of effort, it takes a lot of dedication. When we see new lights in Ahsen, Tunahan and new generation actors, we invite them to our stage. If they make an effort, we become a part of a job, a part of life.”
Mert Fırat explained that he is one of the founding partners of DasDas and that he is closely interested in all these projects. Explaining the importance of young actors choosing the theater instead of TV series, Mert Fırat gave the good news that other names will appear on the stage soon.
Reminding that he is both a producer and an actor, Mert Fırat said, “We will bring in other friends soon. “Like many of my producer friends, I think this experience is a very important one.”
Underlining that it is very valuable for the new generation to take part in the theater stage, the actress said that they will continue on their way with new names in DasDas.
Pointing out the importance of an actor to be disciplined and have a professional stance, Mert Fırat stated that the theater stage is a special place.
The play Ağaçtaki Kız, starring Ahsen Eroğlu and Tunahan Çilingir, continues to be staged in DasDas.
