We have been observing for a while that Disney Plus, which attaches great importance to the production of TV series and movies in Turkey, has made special agreements with important actors. One of these names is Halit Ergenç. The actor, who was wondering when he would return to the screens after the Babil series broadcast on Star TV in 2020, became one of the new screen faces of Disney Plus.
It was also revealed that Halit Ergenç will take part in a series called Nomen, and one of his co-stars was Melis Sezen. The famous actor, who has been in England with his wife and children for a while, shows how happy he is with his photos reflected on social media.
Returning to Istanbul, Halit Ergenç said, “We were constantly coming and going. We could not go back and forth during the pandemic,” he said. Explaining that they have a house there, Halit Ergenç denied the news that they would leave Istanbul and stay in England.
Explaining that there is no development in terms of acting in England, Halit Ergenç said, “Why not, I will work,” and said that if an offer comes, he can take a role in projects. However, emphasizing that he did not have a special purpose to go abroad and act there, the actor said that he had some meetings and that he would return to the sets even if everything was resolved.
Halit Ergenç, who stated that his wife Bergüzar Korel was in some project negotiations, also stated that these projects are in Turkey. Reminding that he came to the fore with the news that he agreed with Disney Plus for a very high fee, the actor said:
“No one’s labor should go unrewarded. Good luck to everyone’s earnings. It is a difficult period, there are difficulties that everything goes through. I don’t think it’s right to talk about money. We are going through a really difficult time together.”
Reminding that Turkey is more beautiful as a place to live and that it is his hometown, Halit Ergenç said that they also go abroad and take vacations. The actor stated that they also love London and that they go back and forth, and that there are some issues they consider for their children’s education.
Stating that he would like to take part in a project with his wife Bergüzar Korel, Halit Ergenç said, “Of course, I always want to work.”
