The film brings a real event to the big screen. It tells the story of the ISIS terrorist organization besieging the Turkish Consulate General in Mosul in Iraq and taking 49 people hostage there.
The movie named 49 will reflect how hard the Turkish National Intelligence Organization put forth to save these hostages. It is expected that 49 films, in which Hande Doğandemir will be accompanied by İsmail Hacıoğlu in the lead role, will be a very effective project.
Hande Doğandemir made a statement about the film; “I am in Kilis for 3 weeks in July. It has rehearsals, studies. Time passes like that,” she said.
