The series, which was produced by Türkan Şoray’s daughter Yağmur Ünal, was at the top of the ratings in the first place with her entertaining story. However, Dolunay, which was below expectations with the opening of the season, made the final in the 26th episode.
Although Can Yaman’s previous series did not work as well as Erkenci Kuş, Dolunay was a big step in the careers of Yaman and Özge Gürel. Thanks to Dolunay, both actors managed to make their name known especially abroad. After Dolunay, the duo also came together in the TV series Bay Yanlış. However, Bay Yanlış did not work in Turkey and made an early final.
Published in many countries of the world, Dolunay is now preparing to be screened in three new countries. Dolunay, distributed by Global Agency, will soon appear before the audience in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.
The story of the Dolunay TV series was as follows: Ferit Aslan (Can Yaman) is a successful businessman who is looking for the perfect order in his work and at home. A cook works at his house every day to cook him before he arrives. But due to Ferit’s meticulousness and perfectionism, none of them can work for a long time. Gastronomy department graduate student Nazlı (Özge Gürel), on the other hand, is urgently looking for a job to manage the house where she lives with her friend and sister, but cannot hold on to the jobs she finds due to her demeanor. The paths of these two opposite people cross in Ferit’s kitchen. While the business relationship that started with a squabble seems to be a long-term one thanks to Nazlı’s talent in cooking, on a night with a full moon, Nazlı and Ferit find themselves in the arms of love.
