The famous actor Kerem Birsin was the guest of the Scenario Talks program broadcast on youtube. Director Bora Talat Oyacı asked how his acting journey started. Kerem Bürsin explained that he started acting in middle school years when he lived in Texas, USA, when he was 13 years old.
Continuing his acting adventure in high school years, Bürsin took part in the team that ranked first in the inter-high school theater show in 2005 in the USA. Kerem Bürsin, who started his sports life as well as acting during his high school years, had to choose one of the two. Kerem Bürsin, who made his decision for acting due to the conflict of activities between acting and sports, thus began to shape his future.
Kerem Bürsin explained those years with the following words: “Acting started when I was 13 years old. I was in Texas, started with musicals. I was doing musicals in middle schools, continued in high school. My sports life started. Activities were overlapping, I chose acting as well. There were three-act games, then one-act games, and then there were competitions in our high school. There were inter-high school competitions in general America. In 2005, I was awarded in the USA. ”
Kerem Bürsin, who explained that this awarded game brought great gains to him in terms of being a real player, stated that he learned the discipline required by acting and his spirit of being a team.
Despite these achievements, Kerem Bürsin, who studied both marketing and acting in university at the request of his family, said, “I wanted to have acting in my mind now. My family did not accept it at first. Good thing they said. I did both acting and marketing at the university. I studied at Boston Emerson. I got out of the stage and met the movie. I think the scene that every actor enjoys is the scene, ” he said.
Expressing that the theater is always on his mind and he wants to do it, Kerem Bürsin also stated that while a series is going on, he cannot participate in a theater play. Kerem Bürsin, who stated that he received the theater play offers but could not accept it, said:
“I would love to have a theater, but since I know myself, I can’t. It is impossible for me to play a series and play a game. It doesn’t sound right.
I want it a lot but it will be at a time when I say stop to TV shows and movies. Offers came. We were going to do the Arzu Tramvayı for a while, sometimes the calendar does not match. “
