The problem in the ratings of the Kara Tahta (Blackboard) series, which was broadcast on TRT1 screens on Wednesday evenings, could not prevent the series from making the final, even though it was broadcast by the public broadcaster. TRT1 does not have an attitude that gives a chance to serials and takes them off the air like private channels.
TRT1, which has produced important serials one after another in the last period, had great expectations from the Kara Tahta project. Despite the meeting of two successful young actors of the last period such as Furkan Andıç and Miray Daner, the strong drama story and the creation of a nice atmosphere in Edirne, the final decision was made for the Kara Tahta series.
It was also on the agenda that Furkan Andıç had meniscus surgery due to the problem he had on the set the previous week and that he returned to the set before he fully recovered. Despite this sacrifice of the actress and Miray Daner’s successful performance, the Kara Tahta series, which did not receive enough attention from the audience, will bid farewell to the screen with its 10th episode.
Kara Tahta, which is among the shortest productions among the TV series broadcast on the TRT1 screen to date, failed to make a good debut despite an opportunity for 10 episodes, and the final decision was inevitable.
This is a great misfortune for Kara tahta, which includes important names such as Cengiz Bozkurt, Kerem Aslanoğlu, Yasemin Yazıcı, Selen Uçer, Çiçek Dilligil, Mine Tüfekçioğlu, Nizam Namidar.
Both TRT1’s quick abandonment of the series and its launch at the end of the season, that is, when the audience was at its lowest, were two great misfortunes for the Kara Tahta series.
While there are many series that TRT1 has continued for a long time despite receiving similar ratings before, the fact that it has only 10 episodes for Kara Tahta indicates that it is coming to a similar situation with the approaches of private channels.
