Merve Dizdar was one of the employees who worked to heal the wounds and deliver aid to the earthquake victims after this disaster, which affected 10 provinces where nearly 14 million people live.
Merve Dizdar, who worked closely with the public in the center of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in Yenikapı to deliver aid materials to those in need, was quite upset about what happened.
The famous actress said, “There is a lot of intensity, but we are all trying to do something. I think we will get through this day like this. Believe me, our heads, minds and hearts are there. Everyone is doing their best anyway, and it makes you happy to see that. We’ve all been working every day since the earthquake. I hope we will get through it,” she said.
Explaining that they came to the aid center with her friends after the work was stopped on the set of the TV series Ömer, Merve Dizdar stated that they worked hard and they will continue to do so.
The actress said, “We are here,” and stated that both her heart and mind are with our citizens in the earthquake zone.
