The tenth guest of the “Screenplay Talks” program, which met the movie lovers on the TÜRSAK Foundation YouTube channel, was Sinem Unsal, who played the character of “Nazlı” in the Miracle Doctor series. The program, in which a very entertaining conversation about acting and the world of the series took place, was followed with interest by cinema lovers.
Sinem Unsal, the guest of the tenth episode of the program moderated by director Bora Talat Oyacı, answered questions from the followers as well as questions about the script and actor relationship. Telling the story of being an actor, Sinem Unsal went to Istanbul to collect her suitcase and achieve her goal,
First of all, how did your story of becoming an actor start? Answering the question, Sinem Unsal said that she is not a graduate of the conservatory, but always wants to be an actor, and after graduating from the Department of Comparative Literature, she collected her suitcase and went to Istanbul and took her first step on this journey.
She continued her acting adventure with the following sentences: “I started to study acting in order not to lose four more years in the conservatory and on the other hand I was working as an editor assistant in a publishing house in order to meet the tuition fees and live in Istanbul. I had a very busy tempo but I was very happy. I had a very busy tempo but I was very happy. Then we worked with my manager. I wanted to study conservatory to become a theater actor. For this, in a process that I focused on the master’s degree, a proposal came from the Shepherd’s Star series and I went to the set just two days after audition and my acting career started in this way ”.
“The Process of Reading the Scenario is Very Important for a Actor”
Sinem Unsal said: “When you take part in any project in acting, you first see the scenario. Understanding it and analyzing your character in the process of reading the script is crucial for acting. ”
Sinem Unsal said that the Department of Comparative Literature, which she studied during her undergraduate education, was very helpful in this process.
She also shared information about the Miracle Doctor series and its role in the series. She stated that when she came to the script of the series and read it for the first time, she deeply understood the Nazlı character that the scenes were revived one by one in her mind.
She continued her views on the series with the following sentences: “When I read the first episode script of the series, the fact that the series handled a very sensitive subject pushed me to very different emotions. I read each scene with interest in the script and congratulated the screenwriter Pınar Bulut for her success in handling this sensitive issue very precisely. ”
