The ATV series called Ateş Kuşları (Firebirds) became one of the hot topics of the last days with a very successful story and a great rating. Starring Hande Soral, İlayda Alişan, Görkem Sevindik and Burak Tozkoparan, the series tells the story of street children holding on to life together and succeeding in becoming a family.
Of course, the story of the Ateş Kuşları series draws attention as it is a life journey full of tragedies, and the 8-point ratings obtained in the first two episodes in the all-person category were a great morale booster for the crew of the series.
The Ateş Kuşları series, which stands out with its strong story, was also a project that deserves to be congratulated for making this big rating debut on Friday evenings, including the most successful production of the season, Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy), and Kızılcık Şerbeti (Cranberry Sherbet), which received good ratings.
Master actor Ahmet Saraçoğlu, who returned to the sets with the character of Çatal in the series Ateş Kuşları, represents the bad sides of the emotionally charged story.
Saying, “I didn’t want to miss such a well-written villain,” Ahmet Saraçoğlu said that he decided to play the role in the series by looking at the character, and he prepared for this role by observing.
Mentioning that the script was very striking, Ahmet Saraçoğlu explained what he did during the preparation for the role of Çatal with these words:
“I prepared by observing. The work we did with our director, the reading rehearsals, the work we did on the character with our writers helped.”
The king of the streets appears as the Çatal character in the Ateş Kuşları series. Since he is one of the gripping names of the story, this character is at a very important point in the success of the series.
For a name like Ahmet Saraçoğlu, who has performed successfully in very different roles, this villain has been a new opportunity for experience.
Saraçoğlu said the following about the character: “Çatal has become the king of the street in a way. He is a very lonely man and this loneliness has never caused any good feelings in him. His strongest feelings are revenge and loneliness.”
Expressing that he is pleased to portray a slightly different villain with extreme points, the actor mentioned that he and the Çatal character have nothing to do with it.
