One of TRT1’s successful projects was the Balkan Ninnisi (Balkan Lullaby) series. The first two episodes of the series, which Uğur Uzunok produced and took part in the scenario group, were broadcast and the audience was satisfied with the project. The production team started working in May for Balkan Ninnisi, which is one of the different productions that TRT1 released in the summer.
Feeling both the historical atmosphere and the warmth of the Balkan people with them in the shootings in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, the crew of the TV series is experiencing a comfortable and comfortable process. However, being far from Turkey and not being able to see their families affects many players.
Director Doğan Ümit Karaca also leaves for family reasons, leaving the directorship of the series to Serdar Akar. Serdar Akar will be the director of the Balkan Ninnisi series from the fifth episode. Erdal Özyağcılar and Serdar Akar were again in Skopje for the series “Elveda Rumeli” (Farewell Rumeli) years ago.
Like Erdal Özyağcılar, who had a very successful period in Elveda Rumeli with the character of Sütçü Ramiz, Serdar Akar was one of the most talked about names as the director of this project. Elveda Rumeli, which was broadcast on ATV between 2007 and 2009, has been a long-lasting and successful project that has been shaping the Turkish TV series industry.
When we look at the connection, story and atmosphere of the Balkan Ninnisi series with these two names, we can say that there is a similar atmosphere. Like elveda Rumeli, the Balkan Ninnisi series stands out as a successful project.
Both series have a common message in terms of showing that people from different cultures can live together. The Balkan Ninnisi is a funnier and more entertaining story, and the seemingly impossible love story of two young people will impress the audience.
Emre Bey and Merih Öztürk also attracted great attention with their performance in the first two episodes. The good ratings of the Balkan Ninnisi series and the strong support on social media were developments that boosted the morale of the team.
