What are the pros and cons of Annemizi Saklarken? Annemizi Saklarken, which started on the Star TV screen and surprised everyone with its story, revealed both a good cast and a different story setup. However, this situation did not attract the attention of the audience and the ratings of the series are bad.
The biggest difference of the TV series Annemizi Saklarken is the character of a mother who moves away from cliché productions and thinks about herself first, not her children. So what are the cons of the series? Anibal Güleroğlu, one of the bloggers of Milliyet, thinks that the script of the TV series Annemizi Saklarken was rushed.
In the first episodes of the series, for which Sırma Yanık wrote the script, the concern to attract the audience to the story is evident. Anibal Güleroğlu explained this situation with the following words:
“The anxiety of attracting the audience must have prevailed from the first episode, because the depth of the Dündar-Zerrin duo, which is the highlighting details of the story to be told, was thrown into the background and only the character of Handan was brought to the fore. Frankly, in this process, in order to collect points from Handan’s childlike mother behavior…”
Anibal Güleroğlu, who criticizes that Handan’s character is brought to the fore but the characters of Dündar and Zerrin remain in the background, expressed an important mistake as follows:
“The family environment of Dündar, who has a personality disorder but is around with his respectable identity and good father-husband profile, and Zerrin, who is seen as mentally ill by those around him, is not focused on. It was a big mistake to send Zerrin off with the suicide scene at the end of the first episode. However, Zerrin’s presence, which raises question marks, would have served both to keep the attention alive and to reflect Dündar’s true face in more detail.”
The exaggeration in the character of Handan, successfully played by Hande Doğandemir, does not go unnoticed. Anibal Güleroğlu thinks this is offensive:
“Moreover, I would like to say that the flow, which takes Handan as the main element, exaggerates the attitudes of the character for this cause, putting them in a repulsive position rather than attractive. “
