Instead, Can Yaman took the lead role of Viola Come Il Mare, which was shot for Canale 5, one of Italy’s biggest channels. Filming for the series was completed last summer.

The character played by Can Yaman, who plays a half-Italian half-Turkish policeman named ‘Francesco Demir’ in the series, was described as follows: “Francesco Demir is a charming and seductive man, he has great research skills, but he has no faith in the human race.
