Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz completed the shooting of the TV series “Erşan Kuneri”, which made a lot of noise while it was still in the shooting phase.
The first season of the series, which will focus on the experiences of the phenomenon character Erşan Kuneri, who also appeared in Yılmaz’s films ‘G.O.R.A.’ and ‘Arif V 216’, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, will consist of 8 episodes.
Zafer Algöz, the actor of the series, who is also a close friend of Cem Yılmaz, talked about the series. Regarding ‘Erşan Kuneri’, Algöz said, “It was a quality job that no one dared to do easily in Turkey.”
Stating that each episode was shot with the quality of a feature film, Algöz said, “It is a very costly and meticulous job. We act eight characters, all of us, head to head. It’s not always the same guys, there are very different actors this time.” said.
Zafer Algöz, who said that Erşan Kuneri was a well thought out, expensive production without being rushed, also increased the excitement about the series.
Erşan Kuneri, starring such masters as Cem Yılmaz, Ezgi Mola, Necip Memili, Uraz Kaygılaroğlu, Nilperi Şahinkaya, Zafer Algöz, Bülent Şakrak and Çağlar Çorumlu, is scheduled to be broadcast on Netflix in March or April 2022.
