There is a very important reason that pushed İlker Kızmaz to take a role in the TV series Arak!

Series Turkish

The successful name İlker Kızmaz, one of the leading actors of Show TV’s new series “Arak”, which attracted great attention with its cast and story, produced by Most Production and produced by Murat Can Oğuz, talked about his role and what awaits the audience.

Stating that the character Baykal is Rauf’s closest friend and confidant, Kızmaz said the following about the project: “He is the person Rauf is closest to after his family. “After they cross paths with Kara, some secrets they have been keeping for years are revealed, and Baykal has a big job to cover up again.”

Underlining that the most important reason for accepting the project was director Ender Mıhlar, İlker Kızmaz mentioned that it was effective to create a good working environment with the same director before.

İlker Kızmaz underlined that the script was at a point that would allow him to experience the excitement of the role and said:

“The biggest factor for me was our director Ender Mıhlar. We shot a movie called I See You last year with Ender. I was amazed by his work discipline and his way of telling stories. When I was offered the role, I became almost one of the happiest people in the world. When the script and characters turned out well, it was inedible for me. I work with a wonderfully harmonious and kind team. We have a producer and director who makes us experience, moment by moment, the concepts of kindness, care and respect that we long for these days. Their sensitivity has spread to the entire team. I hope we will preserve these feelings and enjoy the chance to work for many seasons.”

Arak, which will tell the audience in a striking way about the paths of Kara (İlker Kaleli) and Zeynep (Öykü Karayel), who come from a very different life, intersect with the young man and their struggle together, starts on Thursday at 20.00 on Show TV.
