Things got mixed up in the Yargı! Signing a big mistake in the script?

Things get complicated when Prosecutor Ilgaz resigns and takes over as Ceylin’s lawyer in Kanal D’s TV series, Yargı, which comes to the screen on Sunday evenings and causes a new discussion with each episode. At this point, the audience points out that there may be a big mistake in the script.

In the last episode of the Yargı series, Ceylin, where all the doubts point to Engin’s murder, was imprisoned pending trial. Thereupon, Prosecutor Ilgaz gave his resignation letter and decided to act as the lawyer of the woman he loved. The prosecutor of the case was Pars, and the judge was Neva.

So in this case, in the same case, the judge and prosecutor became sisters, the judge became the ex-fiancee of the defendant’s lawyer, and the defendant became the wife of his lawyer. In other words, things in the Yargı are very confused. This situation caught the attention of the audience and the audience asked whether it was legal.

Viewers shared their reactions on social media. A viewer expressed his reaction as follows: “The judge and prosecutor who are handling the same case are brothers, and the lawyer is ex-fiancee. The one on trial is the wife of his ex-fiancee. I don’t know the Turkish language, but the English term “conflict of interest” is also 1st degree. Do T.C laws really allow this?”

Another viewer stated that this was not possible and wrote: “According to Article 46 of the Law on Judges and Prosecutors, Pars cannot be the prosecutor in the case where Neva is the judge.”

Another viewer pointed out that Ilgaz would not be able to act as a lawyer for two years after resigning from the prosecutor’s office.

Meanwhile, the 16th episode trailer of the Yargı has been released. In the new episode, Prosecutor Ilgaz, acted by Kaan Urgancıoğlu, takes action to get his lawyer’s license by submitting his resignation petition in order to defend his wife Ceylin. Ilgaz’s actions to save Ceylin do not end there. In line with the information he received from the homicide bureau commissioner Eren Duman, the judge of the trial wanted Ceylin to be released pending trial, by conveying the evidence he found to his ex-fiancee Neva Seçkin and the prosecutor of the case, Pars Seçkin.
