Famous actress Tuba Ünsal, who acted the adult version of the character “Eda” in the hit TV series “Aşk 101” shot for Netflix, was the guest of this week’s issue of Şamdan Plus Magazine. In the nature-themed shoot, the actress, who posed very special for the magazine, also drew attention with her candid statements.
Tuba Ünsal, mother of two, who has crossed her own limits with the steps she took in her career, has high self-confidence and always has a high stance towards life, admitted that she made a lot of mistakes when she looked back on her career journey that started very early.
Noting that they also had unhappiness, Ünsal said, “I also love Tuba of that day. I was alone and I think I struggled well. Every job I entered, I left with a flux of my forehead. I had my failures, but I think the most important point is not to give up and to keep learning. I always see this in the stories of successful people. I can count many examples, from screenwriters who were turned down 189 times but eventually won an Oscar for their project, to actors who were turned away from auditions multiple times and whose lives changed after being selected. I have a quieter life now, I guess that’s the only difference.”
The actor said, “You are a person who has been in good works in the media for years and is known to the masses but she answered the question “Do you have moments when you have trouble accepting this recognition from time to time, and you have trouble with it?” as follows. “I think you are starting to normalize in this industry as your years pass. It’s like this is your normal. Outside of my job, I have a pretty normal life. Maybe when I was little, I wanted to live more luxuriously with the situation brought by coming from a civil servant family. I have big cars, big houses. Now I see simplicity as luxury. If I didn’t have children, I would live very comfortably in a room, a living room, at home or even in a caravan.”
So, how does Ünsal, who has been through two marriages, view marriage? Tuba Ünsal said, “Being a family and being a life partner makes sense to me.” “Children definitely need to grow up in a family. No matter how well the parents get along, being a family is another. I wish we had a chance to raise children in the old days when we didn’t corrupt everything.”
Expressing that she is living the life he dreams of today, Ünsal said, “The beauties I have experienced in my life are the things I dreamed of first. I cannot explain this situation with clichés such as the power of thought, but the sail that does not know its direction cannot sail. I dream long and hard about what I want. “I’m living the life I’ve dreamed of since I was a kid,” she said.
