Kanal D’s “Yargı”, starring Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Pınar Deniz, has been talked about a lot since the day it started airing, with the viewers turning the concept of trust inside the family upside down and revealing the difficult processes that a lawyer and prosecutor face. With Urgancıoğlu, one of the leading actors of the series, Deniz talked about what they would do if they faced such a situation in real life.
Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Pınar Deniz, the leading actors of the TV series “Yargı”, which hits the social media and screen every week with its gripping story and increasing mystery, put themselves in the place of their characters in the series, “Ilgaz” and “Ceylin,” and explained what they would do if they were in that situation.
Kaan Urgancıoğlu said that he did not want to be in Ceylin’s place at all and said, “I don’t think a person in that situation can make a sound decision. It’s hard to even think of such a thing. However, in that case, I would do my best to reveal my brother’s murderer, just like Ceylin is doing in the story…”
Pınar Deniz, on the other hand, stated that if Ceylin’s character was in her place, she would definitely act like her, “If I were in Ceylin’s place, I would definitely be the suspect’s lawyer. Because I wanted to somehow know what was going on inside the business, and I wouldn’t be able to access this information when I was out,” she added.
Both protagonists of the series agreed that it is difficult to predict what kind of reflex they would act if they put themselves in Ilgaz’s shoes before something like this happens to them. Kaan Urgancıoğlu said, “In such a situation, it may be difficult to even take an action and people may choose to withdraw into their shell and wait.”
Pınar Deniz, on the other hand, mentioned that Ilgaz’s position has a delicate balance and expressed her thoughts with these words: “Maybe I could hide evidence until the incident became clear, but I would never favor my brother. If I knew you were guilty; I would bring him to justice.” expressed in her words. However, if Urgancıoğlu is concerned with Ilgaz’s handing over the cardigan, which is one of the important evidences of the process, to the police while his brother is a suspect; “I think that Ilgaz wanted the cardigan to be examined because of his confidence that his brother would not leave such evidence there, due to his experience in the prosecution.”
‘Yargı’ is on Kanal D every Sunday at 20:00!
