Famous actor Can Yaman has been living away from Turkey for 2 years, but her heart always beats for this place.
The famous actor, who was in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, for the set of the El Turco series, which was shot for Disney Plus, joined the relief efforts after the earthquake disaster in Kahramanmaraş.
In addition to donating 250 thousand TL to the Ahbap Association, the famous actor also launched a charity campaign through the association named Can Yaman For Children, which he founded in Italy last year and works for children.
The famous actor sent the 80 thousand Euros obtained from this campaign to the Ahbap Association to be used for the benefit of the earthquake victims.
During these charity activities, while many fans joined the call of the famous actor and made donations, it turned out that some people were chasing a fraud to take advantage of the opportunity.
Speaking to Grazia magazine published in Italy, Can Yaman explained that some people are trying to profit themselves through this aid campaign by creating fake profiles on social media.
The famous actor says in his statement in the magazine: “Unfortunately, I learned from the followers that there are fake profiles on my behalf. The only tangible and real aid will be sent through my association and documented to ensure maximum transparency, as with previous charitable activities.”
While making an important contribution to the mobilization situation for the citizens affected by the earthquake, the famous actor also expressed that he wishes everyone to regain the peace they deserve.
