Family: She was born and raised in İzmir. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a representative of a pharmaceutical company. In 2017, she married Birol Namoğlu, the soloist of the Gripin music group. Her older sister is actress Zeynep Beşerler, just like herself. “My sister didn’t want me to be an actress. Because she knows the other side of the coin very well. I had enough of my fears already. For this reason, my sister Zeynep was not in a situation to be an obstacle. When you look at it, the jobs that hold the most are the projects with a lot of intrigue. I think we like it. While acting, I get inspired by many things; I try to go to the theater often. I watch different kinds of movies. If I don’t feel well, I seek the advice of a trusted actor friend.
Career plan: There are many directors she wants to work with. “As I worked for a very short time in Çağan Irmak’s film ‘Nadide Hayat’, I had a taste for it. Also, I would love to work with Onur Ünlü, as I find his work very different. Also, I would like to act in a theater play and a romantic comedy movie again. I also want to have a project where we will play the sisters with Zeynep.”
Concerns: She is worried about the long dramas. “They may take long time, this happens in almost every drama. Inevitably, the audience expects the same excitement. But unfortunately it is not easy to write a script for this time period. In fact, we can say that they achieve the impossible for all screenwriters.”
Does she follow fashion? She describes her style as comfy, casual and sporty-chic. “Although I do not follow trends, it does not take long to understand when I enter any store. A floral-patterned jumpsuit, straw bag, denim shorts, which are indispensable in summer, can be among my indispensables.”
