Airplane was not that common back then. There is a nostalgic feeling created by the train between Istanbul and Ankara. It was a very cold day, there was snow. The year is 2003. I came to participate in the first qualifiers of the acting contest that I completed first. So to speak, I took my suitcase, got on the train, went down to Haydarpaşa Train Station. I had uncles here. Then the process started. I could not imagine these days. Our competition was the first of those on acting. There was no example in front of me that I can imagine. Everyone has a dream, of course. I came from Ankara to Istanbul and I had dreams, I wanted to do something good. But TV series are not that common, I don’t have an example from such a competition. I could not imagine these days. I wanted to act and I was excited about it. I had a feeling that I would do something good. ”

Perspective on business life: Being known as successful both on television and in the cinema increases his responsibility in business life. “It takes a responsibility to do my job better. If there is a situation, it is necessary to continue the process. But this is not a traumatic, heavy, responsibility that I think day and night. Roles and stories come to you, sometimes you want to do it and go after it. You cannot build on achieving something. It is the result. The bottom line is to want to be in the project. It must be a job I believe in. I should enjoy being in it. There is a situation like this in the television business, when you do not sincerely tell yourself why you are in that project, you will get bored with the job. Because we have been working for a very long time. Projects sometimes coincide with the 1.5-2 year period of our lives. In order not to get bored and to express yourself correctly, you need to find the feeling and emotion you are looking for. ”
Career plan: In the selection of the project, it is very important to take part in the story that he can believe and be happy in. “I don’t have a problem to surprise the audience. You can play roles with similar feelings and tone. I just want roles I can believe in. You must be able to put your heart and soul into the character. I graduated from the history department. As a person who loves history, I also like period works. One of my first works was “Karayılan” period project. I would like to be in this kind of job again. I don’t call myself a comedy actor, but I want to be in a good comedy movie. It would be nice. ”

How did he decide to write a book? He published his first book “Sessizlik” in 2018. Writing has always been in his life. He donated the proceeds from his book to Darüşşafaka. “I was writing stories in college times. I was not writing very systematically, but there were stories I wrote in between. Later, when I started to write for the magazine ‘According to His Head’ published by a very close friend of mine from Ankara, it started to accumulate. When it accumulated, I thought, why don’t we make these books. Although I have written on different subjects, it was like the sum of a man’s view of these issues in a universe. It has become something that looks at matters with the same taste. I did not want to have such a perception, actually I did not write with a feeling like nostalgia or a beauty about the past. You are only in the present, the only thing you can compare today’s emotions, feelings, is your past. When my childhood and school adventures came together, I felt like I was coming to a good story point. In recent years, life has evolved at a pace we did not notice. Faster. We have returned to a life in which we listen to each other less, communicate less and feel less with each other. This applies to all of us. At the point where I started to realize these, these stories actually started to emerge. I donated the income of the book to Darüşşafaka. Thanks to my fans, they collected donations for a birthday and we came together with some of them in Darüşşafaka. When I learned what they did in detail, I realized how important an institution it is for this country. I wanted to contribute to this. Sharing is very nice, I think the more we share, the better we enjoy these things. Hardness softens, speed decreases, we turn to the child sharing their marbles. ”

How is it with social media? He does not have a social media account. “I don’t know if I’ll be on social media in the future, but I don’t feel such a need right now. I don’t think this is about being recognized, either. It feels like if I hadn’t done this job I wouldn’t have opened it again. I don’t want to share a moment about my life, even if I do, it won’t be a very special moment, I don’t know. In fact, these are not very thick lines. I don’t care too much about my phone in a friend environment, if we are eating, chatting, I turn it over and don’t look. Relationship with nature: He loves the Anatolian Side in Istanbul mostly, Kalamış and Fenerbahçe. “It’s just about the feeling of life, apart from being calm and peaceful. It gives a sense of belonging to those who live here. I am from Ankara and I liken it to where I came from. Out of the sea. I do not say it as where I live, but I love the streets, the feeling and the marina in Kalamış and Fenerbahçe. Bağdat Caddesi is one of the places that is good for me. Istanbul may have better places, but I like being on the street. I love a crowd that is not tiring. Being in the crowd is good for me. I also lived in the European Side and spent a lot of time. Bebek, Arnavutköy is very beautiful. It even has the most beautiful view in the world. I also love Üsküdar. It has an extraordinary view. What does he do at home? He also likes to spend time at home in his spare time. “I love how it wastes time while on vacation. I am not someone who wakes up in the morning and makes plans for the day.
