I would like to study political science, but I was not a diligent student. Acting was one of the things that stayed in my mind when I was looking for what I should really do, and I wanted to try it. But acting wasn’t something I thought I’d do with love. It was one of the options that came to my mind when I just thought, “How can I earn my life, how can I get out of Trabzon?”
Education life: After completing high school in Trabzon, he graduated from Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Performing Arts Department.
School life: He was a bit disappointed when he entered the conservatory at Hacettepe University. “Wanting to be an actor was a more emotional thing for me. When I came to school, I had the real shock. Entering as children who are curious about themselves, acting and theater; Nowhere in the fact that Turkey can not be adequately studied acting’ve noticed. We realized that in a year. And we were in a hurry to educate ourselves as a class. Thank God we are a very good class. Most of us decided to be an actor in the 3rd grade. We wanted, we entered and realized that what we imagined was not waiting for us there. We struggled for a while, it took time to find our way. We still haven’t found it, but this is what we do. When I entered school I thought I was going somewhere above my imagination. I did not think that I would go into a structure that would shape the imagination of a 17-18 year old child, restrict his creativity and provide education to him. Actually, I thought it would diversify my imagination even more. When I meet my classmates as well, everyone’s eyes are full of eyes, second university students and so on, it’s a great class. We started, everything is trying to stop us. Then a school life where you go into battle with authority and somehow try to make yourself come alive. It pushed us to a point of protest, it gave us a waste of time learning to act. Maybe it strengthened our resistance, but we started to learn acting by working in the market or entering a theater. ”
The turning point of his life: Participating in the auditions of a play by Genco Erkal directed the flow of his life towards Istanbul. “School had just finished. I returned to Trabzon, my classmate Ezgi Coşkun called, told me that Genco Erkal had staged a play, and that I should take part in experiments. The next day I went from Trabzon to Istanbul. I was in front of Genco Erkal at the Friends’ Theater, ‘No need to try, go. You look too small, “he said. Everyone’s behavior and abilities are different. It was Genco Erkal, he said ‘Go’ to me. I went. On this occasion I came to Istanbul. Çağan Irmak had finished “Babam ve Oğlum” at that time. We met on one occasion. He was writing the script for a drama and said, “Will you go on the set tomorrow? I thought he was kidding. It wasn’t. I played two episodes in a TV series written by Çağan Irmak, but the series was canceled. Then Tomris Giritlioğlu called and the adventure started. ”
First step into acting: He started his television adventure in 2005 with the series ‘Güz Yangını’.

I’m a gamer or not; it is necessary not to attribute that much meaning to the profession. View of life: “We encounter so many problems while trying to create ourselves that in this world, a person has to show resistance to try to continue as himself. There are rottenness that always clashes with the values that make us who we are, and we are trying to stand by fighting them. ”
His view of business life: While evaluating the image of a very good actor that many people think about him, he states that he does not think he is a very good actor. However, he says he worked hard for his role. “When you spend some time with the script and work a little bit, the actor comes to a certain place. I can’t say I’m talented, but I’m hardworking. I can not do without working. I’m not putting forward anything talent, I have to work! I work and work hard on the character. I try to understand the character I play, but I do not have an emotional relationship with him, neither does any actor. Everyone wants to be an actor with completely different motivations. The most important problem of today is that there are many people who see the acting profession as a good investment and want to be an actor. Actually, it was not a preferred profession in the past. Living conditions are preferred now, being constantly in sight, money and so on. It attracts people. Nothing can be said to anyone who really wants to be an actor, it somehow finds its way. He can turn to himself and speak to himself properly, he knows how much he can and cannot do. A person who knows his own deficiencies and more draws up his own prescription. Career plan: He does not discriminate between roles, he states that he can play any role. “I don’t discriminate based on who wrote, shot and served what. There is no role an actor cannot play, but there is a role he cannot play. I can only understand if there are roles that I cannot play either when I am given that role and try to play it. In other scenarios, you have never come across a character that I can say that I would never play this role, which is not an imposition that an actor will necessarily play every role. ”
Future Dream: He prefers to live in the moment. “I have no predictions or dreams about the future. I need imagination to understand the present, not the years ahead. ”
Which team is he fan of? He is a Trabzonspor fan. “When I was only two years old, they dressed me with the Trabzonspor jersey. I am one of those who are from Trabzonspor without seeing Trabzon. Until the middle second grade, I was the only one from Trabzonspor in the class. Things changed when it came to Trabzon Cumhuriyet Secondary School. I was very relieved that everyone there was Trabzonspor. In a certain period of primary school in Bursa and Istanbul, I was one or only one of the Trabzonspor players or one of the two Trabzonspor players in the class. I have always felt that difference and being unique. Some people ask if I have a second set, this question is pretty hurtful for me. This is the most wrong question to ask a Trabzonsporlu. Trabzonspor occupies such a big place in our hearts that there is no room for another team anyway.
Şenol Güneş is the first person I signed up for in my life. There was a shop right across the Trabzon Cumhuriyet Secondary School. Şenol Hoca used to hang out there all the time. I think the shopkeeper was his close friend. One day after school, I saw that my teacher was there again and I went to the shop.
