The 48th Pantene Golden Butterfly Award Ceremony took place the previous evening. At the ceremony, awards in many categories were given to their owners as a result of public voting and jury evaluation.
This year, the winner of the ‘Best Digital Series Award’ was Dünyayla Benim Aramda (Between the World and Me). Demet Özdemir, Buğra Gülsoy, Hafsanur Sancaktutan and Metin Akdülger play the leading roles in the series broadcast on Disney Plus.
During the 48th Golden Butterfly Award Ceremony, a post by singer and actress Murat Boz brought up the Zeytin Ağacı (Olive Tree) series, broadcast on Netflix, in which Boz shared the lead role with Tuba Büyüküstün.

This post by Murat Boz was interpreted as a reaction to the award of the “Best Digital Series Award” to the TV series Dünyayla Benim Aramda, instead of the Zeytin Ağacı series, in which he played the leading role, at the Golden Butterfly Award Ceremony.

The Zeytin Ağacı series by OGM Pictures was released on Netflix last July. The series made a great impression with 100 million hours of viewing in the period it was broadcast.
