TelevizyonGazetesi.com/ Special Analysis –Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Bergüzar Korel first came to the cabin together in the ‘Karadayı’ series. STORY
Istanbul Beyazıt Square in 1973. The professions of the tradesmen, their hometowns, and even the religions of some of them are different …
Kibar Nazif and his son Mahir are also the pupils of the neighborhood. Because they have not only counted their lives themselves, others have had troubles, others had happiness. So much so that all the gentlemen who have kept the corners of Istanbul know that Beyazıt is the home of Kibar Nazif and Mahir. It is not entered without support.
Mahir counts himself as the luckiest man in the world .. Because he is a man of heart and kindness like Kibar Nazif. The tales told by his father from his childhood are not just fairy tales, it is the teaching of life, the rule. “If you’re going to be a man like a man, you won’t be afraid. You will do good things for people .. understand the human pulse. Know the absence. Reach out of absence. Know how to share it when it exists. Until the last penny left in his pocket. ”
The path that his father walked has determined the most correct direction. He learned to love people very much from his father, but he always preferred to keep the scales of justice higher than the right and crushed side. As the old Nazif ages, he left his son in the shoe shops, his place on the table, and his reputation in the neighborhood. Mahir is now the pillar of both the house and the neighborhood. They loved Mahir like their brothers and sisters and stepped into their shouts. They chose to want to even walk after him because they appointed them smart and strong.
But the fact that Mahir is increasingly loved by people disturbs the gentlemen of Istanbul. Because they reached the front of the wealth and reputation Maher stands like a fortress. Therefore, they try to buy many times, they cannot prevent Mahir from counting the money. They try to take down with bullets, Mahir is enchanted by the prayer of a big neighborhood. While Mahir is busy with his local engagement, a murder is committed in the Istanbul Courthouse. Attorney General Süleyman is murdered by the prosecutor Turgut, where he discovered his corruption. Turgut has killed the chief prosecutor, who has threatened to take away all the power he has created so far, without blinking. He immediately looks for Necdet, whom he has known since childhood and has made his right hand in such works. Someone has to undertake this murder on their behalf. But Turgut knows this. The penalty for killing an officer in his office is death! Necdet knows that no one will voluntarily go to the gallows. So he wants to shoot two birds with one stone. He decides to send Mahir, the pupil of Beyazıt people, to the gallows. Thus, when the shadow of Mahir disappears from the square, it will be a piece of cake for Necdet to become famous here and to be the boss of the casino he wants most. Because Necdet knows, did you cut the thread holding the stack, the deck will fall apart. Isn’t it mahir? Beyazıt shopkeepers are ready to hunt.
The plan starts processing. Police come to take Mahir away from his engagement. He will be made guilty, and will be captured as if he killed the Mahir chief prosecutor. But something they do not calculate will happen, Kibar Nazif, who does not want to send his son to the courthouse, participates in the invitation. When the Attorney General enters his room, the fact that he is a murderer fits briefly. In order to understand what happened, Nazif finds himself in a prison with a murder weapon and a killer tag on his forehead. It is not the first entry of Nazif to the roof of imprisonment. But it is the first to close the bars on the iron because of a crime he did not commit.
Mahir becomes crazy. He even goes into the pinhole to find those who put his father in this business. It digs the burrow of the moles, does not spoil the bottom of each stone. But he just finds silence. Mahir has never been wrestling illegally, and has been confident at the forefront of all fights. But this time the opponent has hidden himself. Mahir understands that it is not possible to save his father without resolving this secret. The entire node is being solved in the courthouse. So much so that they gave such an important case to a young female judge. The judge also made a confidentiality order for the file at the first hearing. This means that even Nazif’s lawyer will not know what happened in the investigation. Mahir’s eyes are part of this game for this woman. Mahir must enter the courthouse and be with this woman to break the game. Thanks to the lawyers Erdal, the ancient family friends, the interns enter the courthouse. Mahir learns again that the justice he learned from his father is for sale in this world.
Feride judge is the smartest, most beautiful and actually the most loving judge in the Istanbul Courthouse. But Feride has always lived a sheltered life by her father, the grandfather of Kurtuluş veteran. Although she worked in every corner of the country for years, she never opened the door of this sheltered world. All she knows is the truth. As she internalized the articles of the law, she often did not realize that she was away from the street, people and conscience. While making her decisions, she only listened to the laws, not her conscience. When the file of the Attorney General is given to her, this will be her only destiny. Not knowing that her colleague next to the real murderer, the prosecutor Turgut, who is also dealing with this case, will not worry about executing Kibar Nazif as soon as possible. Because all the evident evidence points to Nazif. Feride does not yet know the difference between looking and seeing. Mahir will teach her all the lessons in her life, her conscience and the street.
In addition to Mahir Feride, the intern starts to work as a lawyer. The intention is to reach the locked file in a few days, to learn all the men for sale and put their threads on the market. But Mahir’s plans do not proceed as he thinks. His work will be longer with the judge Feride, who will break his father’s death pen. He cannot reach the file in any way. As he gets away from the file, he gets closer to Feride.
Mahir is a son ready to die for his father. His only life is to save his father’s life from his own, and to save him. When he enters this road, the obstacles in front of him will gradually grow, and all the gentlemen of Istanbul, especially the prosecutor Turgut, are sworn drinks to eliminate Mahir. But it is not easy to destroy him, as Mahir takes his power from justice and his love for his father. When they try to crush Mahir, he will grow even bigger so that he will even stretch the victims like himself. On this road he entered when he was a lad of a small neighborhood, many more people who considered him a hero would gather around him. While Mahir is getting stronger, his only weakness will remain his love for Feride. His father’s life is between the two lips of the woman he is in love with.
