Shura, who came to Petrograt (St Petersburg) with her sister Valentina for her father Julien’s illness, met Kurt Seyit, a Crimean Turkish noble officer at the first ball she attended. Kurt Seyit is the old gun friend of Petro, son of the Borinsky, the partner of Shura’s father. Petro had just left the army due to a secret known only to Kurt Seyit and started business with his father. This secret also overshadowed Petro and Seyit’s friendship. Having fun at the ball with his close military friends Celil, Misha and Vilademir, Seyit is struck from the first moment he sees Shura and cannot forget it afterwards.

Understanding that Seyit is in love with Shura, Petro’s secret enmity grows gradually over time, while always keeping her place with him as Seyit’s best friend, she also tries to put obstacles in front of Seyit in every sense. will continue its effort.

Her love for Seyit grows and matures Shura. Over time, she transforms her from a tiny girl into a passionate, confident woman who can deal with challenges.

Seyit’s father Mirza Mehmet Eminof does not want to take Shura to his family as a bride, despite her beauty and nobility. It stipulates that his son Seyit should marry a Turkish girl depending on his traditions. Seyit was defeated in the war against his undefeated family. But still, Seyit does not leave Shura’s hand at the expense of taking his father, whom he respects to the death, against him. Seyit’s presence in Crimea leaves his family in a difficult situation due to the new conditions in the country. In order not to endanger his family, Seyit is put on his own risk and on a very difficult journey, he sets out for Istanbul with the remorse of what he left behind.

The shooting of the first episode of “Kurt Seyit ve Şura” adapted from Nermin Bezmen’s novel of the same name, which started in Kartepe, was held in St. Petersburg city. After the first episode of the series was broadcast, the costumes, venues and city images were talked a lot. In order to reflect the spirit of the period when art and culture occupied a large place in daily life, 25 locations in the city were used as sets. In outdoor shooting that reflects the splendor of the period; Zayachi Island, known as the famous Palace Square and Rabbit Island, and tourist squares were inhabited. The frozen Neva River was also reflected on the whole screen in the shootings made by the 200-person set team at minus 27 degrees.

The venue used as Kurt Seyit’s home was the Vavilov Plant Breeding Research Institute. Built in 1899; Summer residence of the Tsar’s brother (Boris Vladimirovich Romanov).

The ballet scene shot on the giant stage of the historical Aleksandrinskiy Theater was among the episodes that were watched with admiration. About 150 extras, 11 ballerinas and choreographers also took part in this scene. The 34-person orchestra also accompanied the dancers. The ball scenes of the series took place in the Marble Palace, where 32 different types of marble were used. The shooting of the prom scenes was completed in four days. To the team; Two dance teachers and a choreographer helped. Seyit; Shura, Petro, Valentina, Celil and Tatya and St. Tourist squares were closed to traffic for his stroll in St. Petersburg.

The set of the series was later moved to Istanbul, and the production team conducted months of research to reflect the war years of the period. The old Sewing House of Haydarpaşa Railways was chosen as the hospital where Kurt Seyit, who was injured in the First World War Carpathian Front, was treated. In the scenes where approximately 200 extras took part, each extra was given a special make-up. The Kurt Seyit ve Şura team, which transformed the Haydarpaşa Sewing House into a hospital of 1916, specially produced many details such as 200 beds and 50 stretchers that reflect the period exactly. To reflect the cold climate of Russia, the 1000 m2 area was completely covered with artificial snow.
