Diren Polatoğulları, who plays the character of Kazım, in the TV series The Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy), which continues to meet with the audience on Star TV on Friday evenings, gives a performance that leaves the audience in astonishment. The ratings of the series, in which Afra Saraçoğlu starred as Seyran and Mert Ramazan Demir with the characters Ferit, have been at very high rates since the day it started.
Diren Polatoğulları, who created a completely different character with the accent, attitudes and mimics of Kazım’s character, was one of the important stakeholders of the series being such a successful business.
Diren Polatoğulları said that the show, which focuses on the flirtatious son of a rich and powerful family, changing the life of a young girl who was forced into marriage at an early age, expected to see a reaction, but the audience said that this story was normal.

“I think there is something like that, both characters have flaws. I’m talking about the protagonists. Especially Ferit’s character has very logical flaws. In quotes, he is not one of the heroes we know. You can get very angry with him, you don’t always take his side. As a viewer, you don’t just take his side. So whatever he (Ferit) does, he doesn’t eat. You can get angry, you can hate, you can curse. Stuff like that smells like a very true story to me. Then he becomes a very real man.
The same goes for the girl. She (Seyran) has a lot of character, but she also sometimes has flaws due to the violence she has experienced from her father, like every human being. I think they are very real characters.
And we shot 3 episodes there in Gaziantep. We spent a lot of time there. When the team goes to Gaziantep, we shoot a place we don’t know, we go to the hotel, we have dinner. We love to eat as a team. Of course, when that happened, everyone got along wonderfully. He has been very good to us. We were a full team there. Everyone got along very well with each other. Not even the slightest problem has arisen so far.”
