Founded by Kerem Çatay and Ömer Özgüner in 2020, OJO Pictures has produced three TV series, namely Yeni Hayat, Hekimoğlu and Cam Tavanlar. The most successful among them was undoubtedly Hekimoğlu, which was broadcast on Star TV.
The last series of the production company, Cam Tavanlar, on the other hand, was not successful in the ratings despite its different theme and made the final in the eighth episode. The series, starring Bensu Soral and Kubilay Aka, drew attention to the difficulties women face in business life and the obstacles that men put in their way.
Drawing attention to the problems of women in daily life with Cam Tavanlar, OJO Pictures touches on the same issue in its new series, Annemizi Saklarken. In Annemizi Saklarken, Handan, who married almost at a young age and had two children, tells the struggle to survive. Handan is a woman determined not to be anyone’s slave anymore.
