Onur Büyüktopçu was one of the names that attracted attention with the character of Koriş in the TV series that was broadcast 7 years ago. Declaring that the emergence of the character of Koriş was his own success, Onur Büyüktopçu said, “After 7 years, I understand that I am the only success of the character of Koriş in Kiralık Aşk.”
While the famous actor drew attention with the statements he made years later about the character of Koriş, he also referred to the screenwriter at this point and explained the following details:
“Years ago, after Kiralık Aşk became popular, when people praised me, I used to say, this is a team effort, thanks to my director, thanks to my screenwriter’. But after 7 years, I realize that I am the only success of the character of Koriş in Kiralık Aşk. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not egotistical. There was no such character. I created this character. The screenwriter wrote it while I was doing it. While the screenwriter was writing, the director drew, but if I didn’t have such a talent, no one would write or draw. We have been the right match, but no one should take credit for “I created it”. It’s totally me who created this character.”
Stating that he was the first casting director in the industry, Onur Büyüktopçu said that this profession was very difficult due to working hours, but he brought Kiralık Aşk to him.
